The Grant Accountant's Office organizes and maintains records of all grant and contract proposals, awards, and grant activity and agency reports for the purpose of internal and external reporting for all audits.

Upon grant or contract award, the Grant Accountant establishes the grant cost center and the associated budget allotment. Along with the Grant Director, the Grant Accountant holds an orientation meeting with project directors to review the project award and procedures of accessing and expending funds in accordance with the rules, regulations and guidelines of the University and funding agencies.
