M ike has accepted a position at Lonza. Mike is working on the development of an organic compound library for the chemical company.

Chris DeVore BS-ACS-May '05
Chris has accepted a position with Corning Inc. in their research and development division, in Corning, N.Y. He is working on fuel cells, flexible displays (LCD), and catalytic converters (ceramic). Chris and his wife also the proud parents of two newborn twins, Tyler James (TJ) and Isabella Mae. The twins were also welcomed by older sister Johanna.

Tim Brockman BS-May '05
Tim has accepted a position with Phoenix Chemicals in Somerville, NJ. Phoenix Chemicals develops polymers for cosmetic/personal care products.

Melinda Hill BS-ACS-Dec '02
Melinda successfully defended her Ph.D. at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in April 2006. She has accepted a post-doctoral position at Los Alamos National Labs.

William Harris BS-ACS '95; JD '99 Duschene U
Bill is a native of Lehigh Valley, a member of the Board of Directors of the Lehigh County Bar Association and a member of the Northhampton County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Harris' practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation, real estate and business law. Harris is a former clerk to the Honorable William F. Crissie is continuing to make great progress toward her PhD at the University of Arizona. She recently had her first paper from her doctoral research published in Advanced Materials (Adv. Mater, 2002,14, No.3, February 5, 2002). It is entitled "Laser and Electron-Beam Induced Growth of Nanoparticles for 2D and 3D Metal Patterning"

Jeff is a graduate student at the University of Arizona doing research on an ABC transport protein.

Robert Kozicki (BS-ACS '95)
Bob is a chemist and routine laboratory supervisor with Andrew S. McCreath and Son, Inc. His lab does quantitative and qualitative analysis of ores and alloys by wet chemical methods.

Michael Galella (BS-ACS '97)
Mike works as an Assistant Research Scientist in Analytical Research & Development at Bristol-Myers Squibb. The group he works in performs solid state characterization analysis of pharmaceutical crystal systems.

Paul Verdino (BS '94)
Paul is a Senior Forensic Scientist with the New Jersey State Police in the Toxicology Division. He is also finishing his thesis for his MS in Forensic Science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan.
