Lambda Pi Eta is the honor society for communication studies students.
The honor society's purpose is to recognize, foster and reward outstanding scholastic achievement in communication studies.

Chapter of the Year!
The Bloomsburg University Xi Omega chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Honor Society, has been named the 2019 Chapter of the Year by the National Communication Association.
The executive board, Emel Rasim, Ashlyn Burkholder, Emily Henderson, Angela DiPasquale, and Abby Astrachan of the Xi Omega chapter and Dr. Erin Brummett, advisor to the chapter, attended the Lambda Pi Eta division business meeting at the 105th National Communication Association Convention in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday, November 15th to receive the award. Along with being recognized, the chapter was also awarded a plaque as well as a cash prize.
