One of the primary goals of the Professional Program in the Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education is the preparation of teachers who are competent, caring, and committed to the profession.
Our department office is located on the third floor of the McCormick Center for Human Services in suite 3213. Department office hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Summer office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Department of Developmental Instruction
The Department of Developmental Instruction provides developmental and study skills courses to all students of the University. These courses are designed to help students improve skills in reading, writing, mathematics and study skills. Content courses carry graduation credit and developmental courses earn institutional credit.

University Tutorial Services
University Tutorial Services offers free peer tutoring in a variety of courses and is open to all undergraduate students enrolled at the University.
