A. G. "Jerry" Wemple
Professor of English/Creative Writing

Jerry Wemple received his MFA from University of Massachusetts-Amherst and is the author of two collections of poetry: The Civil War in Baltimore (Word Press, 2005), and You Can See It from Here (Lotus Press, 2000). He is also co-editor of Common Wealth: Contemporary Poets on Pennsylvania, published by Penn State Press. His poetry, creative nonfiction, and reviews have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies.

Teaching and Research Interests
Primary interests include poetry and creative nonfiction, as well as literature about Pennsylvania and African American life in rural Pennsylvania.
