After graduating from BU in 1991, Peggy Ganse moved to Colorado to attend graduate school at the Colorado School of Mines.  After receiving her Master of Engineering degree in Geological Engineering, Peggy  joined the Denver office of Haley & Aldrich, Inc., a national consulting engineering firm.  In 2001, she was awarded the Outstanding Young Member award from the Association of Engineering Geologists.  In 2003, she started a geological consulting firm in Denver with 3 partners, and currently has a staff of 16 people.  As an Associate with Lyman Henn, Inc., Peggy serves as senior tunnel design engineer and is also responsible for business development.

Dr. Robert Davidson graduated from Bloomsburg University in December of 1990. From there he attended Widener University School of Law to complete his Jurors Doctorate.  Dr. Davidson has worked in many jobs including Agricultural Field Reporter (Columbia County), Environmental Health Specialist (Norristown,
PA), Chief of Surveying and Planning (Construction Engineering, Inc.-Millville, PA), and Zoning Hearing Board Solicitor, Zoning Officer, Sewage Enforcement Officer, Subdivision Ordinance Administrator, and Land Use Planning Consultant ( Columbia and Montour Counties). He is most recently employed as the Chief of Land Use and Natural Resources Division for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Farmland Preservation in Harrisburg, PA.

 "I am currently employed at Blaschak Coal Corp., P.O. Box 12, Mahanoy City, PA 17948. My position is Professional Geologist.  I have been working in Anthracite mining since 1979. I am also a consultant to the mining industry, working with various mining
companies in the region. Blaschak Coal Corp. is a Anthracite Mining and Preparation Facility. We ship anthracite worldwide for
both residential and commercial uses. As an intern I worked with the Pennsylvania Topographic and Geologic Survey and have published maps in publication M-80, Geology and Mineralogy of
Copper and Uranium Occurrences in the Picture Rocks and Sonestown Quadrangles, Lycoming an Sullivan Counties, Pennsylvania, 1984."

"I graduated from Bloomsburg with an Environmental Planning degree in 2003.  Since graduation I have worked for a private land use consultant in Scranton, PA.  Shortly thereafter I was hired as Watershed Specialist for the Susquehanna County Conservation
District.  In addition I was hired as an adjunct instructor at Keystone College, teaching an Environmental Management class.  I did that for one year.  I took over teaching that class for another Bloomsburg Alumni, Shane Kleiner
(shkleiner@state.pa.us) who works for DEP.
Currently I work for the department of transportation doing federal funds management. I basically plan on where our allocated federal dollars can best be spent on the roads."

Jeffrey Leberfinger is currently Vice President of ARM Group Inc in Hershey PA.  He is also the senior geophysicist and group manager of the geophysical services group for ARM. ARM's geophysical service group provides  geophysics for both federal and commercial clients through out the US.  There are currently 4 other Bloomsburg Geology alumni working for Jeff in the geophysical services group.  They include Beth Williams (Stahl), Monica Leberfinger (Mayer), Elaine Gustus, and Joe Janick.  He can be contacted at 717-533-8600 ext 151.

"I graduated in 1997. I am currently working with  the Department of
Environmental Protection as a Environmental Planner II, in The Office of Water Planning, with the Federal Coastal Zone Management Program.  (yes, I know it is a mouthful). I have been working  with the state for four years. Most of my work consist of me working with the conservation districts on Non-point Source Pollution Issues, Federal and Interstate Consistency issues, Project Monitoring and oversight, Wetland Inventory and public education.

"I work as a project hydrogeologist/geophysicist for ARM Group Inc. in Hershey PA.  I deal mainly with environmental remediation type projects such as dissolved gasoline remediation, chlorinated
solvent remediation, well installation and logging, slug and pump testing, and rock coring.  I also work on geophysical projects including unexploded ordinance detection, sinkhole mapping and fracture mapping using several different pieces of geophysical equipment such as EM-61, EM-31, GPR and Gravity meter. "
