What happens if my team forfeits?

If your team forfeits without notifying the Intramurals office 1 hour prior to the game then you will lose your forfeit fee, (if one was collected).

What is a forfeit fee?

A forfeit fee is given to the coordinator at the beginning of the season to ensure that your team does not forfeit. This one fee is for the entire team.

Do I receive the money back?

If your team does not forfeit throughout the entire season, then your money will be returned to you.

How do I get my forfeit fee money back?

To collect your forfeit fee you must come to the intramural office located in the student recreation center.

A forfeit occurs when a team does not have enough players to play at game time, or at any point during a game. Forfeits inconvenience teams and deny them an opportunity to play.
