What are Intramural Sports?

The purpose of the Intramural Sports Program is to enhance participant fitness, personal skills and enjoyment by providing opportunities for cooperative and competitive play. All participants are BU students.
Why should I play?

Participating in Intramural sports is a fun way to get exercise, get your mind off school and make new friends!
Does it cost money to play Intramural Sports?

There is no cost to participate in Intramural Sports, however you may be asked to deposit a forfeit fee. This small fee will be returned to you at the end of the season if your team does not forfeit without notice.
How do I sign up?

Visit the Intramurals office for a roster sign up sheet. Or download one from our website and bring it to the office.
When does my team play? Where?

Games are played on a Monday/Wednesday schedule or Tuesday/Thursday schedule. Your captain will provide you with a schedule of your team's games or you can print one out from our website as well as call the schedule hotline at 389- 4885.
What if I'm not on a team, but I want to play?

Fill out an individual roster and you will be placed on a team. Individual rosters are available in the Intramurals office.
What happens if it rains?

If games are cancelled due to inclement weather please call the schedule hotline at 389-4885 or wait for your captain to call you.
What happens if my team forfeits?

If your team forfeits without notifying the Intramurals office 1 hour prior to the game then you will lose your forfeit fee, (if one was collected).
