Spring 2004 Ceremony of Initiation
The Department of Languages and Cultures would like to congratulate

Chapter 74 of Bloomsburg University, during a ceremony organized by
Dr. Patricia Dórame-Holoviak, the Chapter's advisor.

Kristen N. Hahlbohm, acting president, opened the ceremony and welcomed
Phi Sigma Iota members, faculty and guests.
Dr. Patricia Dórame-Holoviak presented initiates as candidates for
membership in Iota Theta Chapter to Dr. Gilbert Darbouze, acting
Chapter Representative of Bloomsburg University.
Kerrie McDonough, acting Vice President, and Dr. Luke Springman participated
in the ceremony as readers.
The ceremony's guest speaker this year was Benjamin Oberworder,
a graduate student in International Business in Germany who talked about the great
importance of languages in the world today.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Dr. Dorame-Holoviak for organizing this event, and for all
her hard years of work advising the organization.
