Welcome. The Department of Political Science at Bloomsburg University embodies an ethos of change and an emphasis on the learning experience of our students. Within the last several years we have hired three new professors, implemented a graduate program in Public Policy and International Affairs, and expanded our undergraduate course offerings to include Asian politics, information technology, and research methodology. Our seven permanent faculty members bring a wide-range of expertise and teaching excellence to our programs. We offer our students the opportunity to specialize with the law option and the public administration career concentration. Our department sponsors the Political Science Student Association, Pi Sigma Alpha, and the Bloomsburg University Forensics (Speech and Debate) Team for valuable experiences outside the classroom. We invite you to join us in the study of politics and government.
"

Associate Professor Neil Strine, Department Chair.
