48.401 History of Psychology

Description: Studies the historical development of modern psychology and compares present-day models of behavior within an historical framework. (3 semester hours credit)

Prerequisites: 90 semester hours and completion of one of the following courses: 48.360 Cognitive Psychology, 48.375 Psychology of Learning, 48.380 Behavioral Neuroscience, 48.335 Abnormal Psychology, 48.436 Theories of Personality

Generally offered: Fall of even-numbered years

Additional Information: This course can be used to meet the requirements for a Psychology Major or Psychology Minor, and can fill a General Education requirement.
