
Description: Studies a topic via either review and research of technical psychological literature or empirical manipulation of variables in the field or laboratory under supervision of a psychology faculty member. Requires written report on results of study. Please read the section on Research Experience. (3 semester hours credit)
Prerequisites: This course requires an application which must be approved by the instructor, the department chair, and the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. Students are advised to meet with their faculty mentor early in the semester prior to anticipated enrollment.
Usually taught by: Students may be mentored by any faculty member in the Psychology Department
Generally offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters

This course can be used to meet the requirements for a Psychology Major or Psychology Minor, and can fill a General Education requirement.
