** GREETING FROM THE DIRECTOR**

The purpose of our Off-Campus Housing Website is to provide helpful information to assist you in your search for off-campus housing in the Bloomsburg area. On the left navigation panel, you will find basic information regarding moving off campus, phone and contact numbers you may need, current housing/apartment vacancy listings as well as a host of other useful items which includes information on landlord and tenant responsibilities, security deposit, leases, and personal property insurance just to name a few. After you have read through the site, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at the Off-Campus Housing Office by phone: 570-389-3590, email Linda Brown, or by stopping in our office on the ground floor of Elwell Hall.

Please check out the "Dweller," our student newsletter.

Good Luck,

** OFF-CAMPUS HOUSING AND SAFETY FAIR**

If you’re thinking about moving off-campus next year or are already living off campus and have questions, come to the 14th annual Off-Campus Housing and Safety Fair on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, in Multipurpose rooms A and B of the Kehr Union Building (KUB) from 10 am to 3:30pm. Various Town landlords will be available with information regarding their available rental units for next year.

Also the Fall 2009 edition of our off-campus housing newsletter, THE DWELLER, is now available on our website, www.bloomu.edu/offcampus. The Dweller contains information/phone and contact numbers useful and necessary for students currently residing off-campus or those who may be considering it for next year.

** ADDRESS INFORMATION **

All students at BU (except those who will be living on campus) including graduate students, must register their local address including house number, apartment number (if applicable) and street where they will be living while taking classes. It is very important that our records are accurate because of emergency issues, parking permits, and financial aid review. Non-degree students should call 570-389-3590, Office of Student Standards/Off-Campus Housing, to report your address or ask questions. Thank you for your assistance.
