As its name implies, SOLVE (Students Organized to Learn through Volunteerism and Employment) promotes volunteerism and provides public service employment for Bloomsburg University students. 

The mission of the SOLVE Office is to facilitate student citizenship development and the understanding of social responsibility through employment (both part-time jobs and the off-campus work-study program) and community service including volunteerism, service learning, and tutoring/mentoring opportunities. 

SOLVE offers the co-curricular transcript for students to document these learning experiences and provide a record of campus-wide out-of-classroom activities for their portfolio.
