	November 1st The TRiO Upward Bound Alumni Association's Homecoming banner waved proudly from the fences at the new football stadium. Special thanks to our artistic alumni, Tiffany, Lindsay,Leslie, Raylene, Lacey and Katie for their help in spreading the word about TRiO during homecoming weekend.
October 28th TRiO Upward Bound and TRiO Student Support Services collaborated to host "TRiO Celebrates Success" during Dr. Soltz's inauguration week activities. UB Alumni and current SSS students gathered with Dr. Soltz for icecream sundaes and rootbeer floats. Students were also joined by Dr. Fritz, Asst. VP & Dean of Graduate Studies/Research and Dr. Jerrold Harris, Grants Director.
	October 22nd Greetings TRiO Upward Bound Alumni & Friends, I hope this note finds you happy and healthy. As you know, TRiO UB@BU is currently celebrating thirty years on campus at Bloomsburg University and the success of each alumnus and current Bounder from 1978 to the present. During such a special year, it seems particularly appropriate to conduct our annual   TRiO UB@BU Alumni/Staff Survey. Last year we were fortunate to receive over 115 responses from alumni and staff. With your help, we hope to connect and reconnect with even more alumni and staff in 2008! Thank you in advance for your participation. Best wishes for continued success in the future.
August 2nd TRiO Upward Bound at Bloomsburg University celebrated 30 years of alumni success at our reunion event held at Monty's Cafe on upper campus. Pictured at right are alumni in attendance from the 1980's. Stay turned for additional pictures in the spring 2009 newsletter. A handful of 30th reunion commemorative t-shirts remain in sizes M, L, XL. Please email if you are interested.
