BU Tutoring Services

Welcome to the official website of University Tutorial Services (UTS) at Bloomsburg University. Here you will be able to access any and all information about our services, employment, hours and much more. At the University Tutorial Services we offer peer-to-peer tutoring services at no charge for Bloomsburg University students. All tutoring sessions must be scheduled through our office (we do not accept walk-ins), and will be held for 1 hour per week for each course you request and are matched for tutoring. There are other tutoring labs on campus that offer walk-in help. To find out more about those tutoring labs, please visit your course's department building.

Assist Bloomsburg University undergraduates in experiencing learning success, to help student clients (tutees) to strengthen their academic performance, to provide individualized assistance, to foster interest in BU courses, and to aid tutees in achieving learning independence.

Please do NOT record your tutoring hours on the white payroll sheets. These are to be signed and dated ONLY. Your hours must be recorded on the YELLOW sheets. If for some reason you do not have a yellow sheet you need to let an office worker know (talk to our secretary, Carla, or speak with a GA, Megan or Chelsea). If there are no hours listed on your yellow sheets, it means we do not submit any hours for you to payroll. We did fix the issues for last payroll, but PLEASE reflect changes for future weeks on the yellow forms.
