Gender and Women's Studies at Bloomsburg University, an interdisciplinary program, uses gender as a category of analysis to understand cultural configurations.

The minor examines how definitions of masculine and feminine difference constitute social, aesthetic, economic and historical structures and perceptions within historical and trans-national contexts.

The Gender & Women's Studies Program offers cross-listed courses in eight departments across campus. Course topics range from Human Sexuality to African American Women Writers.
