Drs. Robert Green, Paula Hopeck, Kai Kuang, and Shavonne Shorter participated in the Kickoff Dinner and Young Alumni Panel at the Fall 2018 Career Intensive Boot Camp program held at the Greely Center on September 14, 2018. The Career Intensive Boot Camp is a 2.5-day experience for juniors, seniors, and recent graduates of all majors to learn how to leverage their skills and experience to not only get a job, but to be successful in the transition from student to professional. This year, three students from our major, Stephanie Bouffard, Josh Lloyd, and Janessa Riddell participated in the Boot Camp and gained valuable professional development skills.
Dr. Erin Brummett served as a facilitator during a Post-Lecture Discussion on Diversity for the Bloomsburg University Graduate Professional Seminar Program on September 17, 2018. The discussion was based on LGBTQIA advocate Michelle Garcia's lecture and included College of Education graduate students and community members.
Students from Dr. Bodenman's Event Planning class helped with the College of Liberal Arts Symposium and presented at the College-wide meeting on September 28.
